Different Ways to Search for Contractors

There are several ways to begin your worker search. The Occupational Category, Availability, and Keyword Search are three ways to indicate your preferences. Keyword is a mandatory entry which trawls through the Skills Summary and Employment History of registered workers on the database.

Occupational Category
If you are looking for a particular category of people, click on one of the categories listed here. If not, do not click on any of the categories.

Availability
Use this to narrow your worker search by their availability ("Now" to >4 weeks). If you wish a broader search, do not click on any of the selections.

Keyword Search
Keywords are words, phrases, terms, etc. that describe technical and professional experience. In the Workers database, the search references the Skills Summary and Employment History of registered workers.

Examples of keywords include UNIX, programmer, SAP, accountant, finance, management, service. By typing in keywords that describe the position you are seeking and clicking on Search, listings of suitable workers in the database containing your keyword are retrieved for you to view. Click on the individual worker, via the mouse over the # field of the list, to access their resume details.
